Location: Small park just across the street to the east of the state capital
Weather: Sunny and 72 degrees
Time: 1300-1320 hours

As further research on the impacts that the construction site has on the areas around it, I decided to do today’s observation in a timy park to the northeast of the construction site. Again, I was unable to find any animals, not even an errant grey squirrel or swallow. However there was a garden with a bush in it that was flowering with large, yellow flowers. These flowers look similar to the flowers on the Daffodil plant, but the basic structure of the plant is slightly different. The plant is more of a bush with many curling together stems, whereas the structure of a daffodil is a straight thin stem that does not tangle with the ones around it. This plant seems to flourish in the bright sun, as it is in a location that does not get a large amount of shade during the day, and the plant is not wilted at all despite the unseasonably warm weather and lack of rain.
