Many people appreciated the great Oregon White Oak that once held its long armed branches out for wedding, graduation, and picnic photos. The tree was cut in August and all of its remains were removed, except the root base. This blog is dedicated to that oak and the Willamette Valley natural history of which it was a part for at least 185 years.
