Climate: 62 degrees
Location: Hatfield Fountain, Salem
I walk by it every time I’m headed to work and never take time to notice and observe this work of art that is filled with water. Today is different I decided to go early to work and take some observations in this fountain. I take out my pen and notebook and let the pen write away. I notice that there is a huge boulder outside the fountain and it seem odd cause its just pout there and the rest are all in the fountain. This fountain has two eagle’s, a mama eagle and papa eagle the are on top of these boulders that are standing vertical to each other as you hit the top of both boulders you can see that the water runs down, somewhat like a water fall, the water fall’s and hit’s the rock in the middle of both. Today the fountain has water and it’s dark green and other day’s there is no water in the fountain. Just the other day it was blue which seems odd, and who knows it might be red next time. Last time I went by there was also a couple of middle school kids playing around it seems like there class was on a field trip.
