Observation Nov 2

Phil Colburn
2 November 2008
Time: 1150-1210
Location : Between campus and the train station
Weather: Absurdly rainy

As I walk towards the train station, suddenly the sky opens up and begins to deluge me with buckets of water. I am wearing a raincoat because it was drizzling before, but I am still almost instantly soaked. The trees in front of me lose many leaves instantly, knocked off by the sheer force of the rain. The force of the rain is actually quite impressive. It appears as if all of the rain that should have been falling before is falling all at once. Even though I live in Washington, where it rains all the time, it is rarely this hard.
