Location: Fairview Wetland
Weather: Overcast, a little chilly.
A Red-tailed Hawk is soaring over the wetland. It’s difficult to see his red tail because the sun is just a weak shine through the clouds, like a flashlight beam that is about to die. The clouds are all a very uniform dirty white or gray, and it’s comforting to see there isn’t an end to them. In a parking lot across the road the trees are covered in bright leaves that stand out against the green trees behind them and gray sky above them.
