After working out at the gym i decided to walk to the Botanical Garden to look around and relax. Walking through the garden i notice how vibrant all of the colors are. Right now i cannot really hear anything. I cannot hear people, i just heard what sounds like an ambulance but it may have been a police car. It almost feels as though i have escaped from reality and i am not even alive because it is so deserted but beautiful. The grass is bright green and the flowers are so alive. It is almost like a wonderland. With things like this garden and the Japanese garden it really shows how much Willamette cares about wildlife and plants. Not many college campus's have things like this and we have two. It is also shocking to me how many people do not come to the gardens. It is so pleasant to be alone in places like this because it is so bright that it would be nearly impossible to feel sad or alone when you are surrounded by such lively plants. I am sitting on the grass staring at the sky and it is becoming quite overcast. Unfortunately it looks like it is going to rain. I was really enjoying the hot weather from a week ago. I notice that when i am standing up and looking around the garden the sky doesn't look so dark, but when i look up and all i see is grey i suddenly feel sad and disappointed that it isn't going to be a beautiful day.
