Location: Steps in the back of baxter, near the construction site.
Weather: Cloudy and cool
Time: 1530-1550 hours
I am sitting on the steps out behind Baxter. I see a small garden lining the edge of the building There are some very interesting flowers in the garden which I believe that I have seen before. When I saw them last, I was told that they are the bleeding heart flower, because small stamens hang down from the main purple part of the flower, causing it to look remarkably like a heart dripping blood. There were also a few bees frequenting these flowers, despite the cool temperatures. However, as it is near the construction site, there is still a fine layer of thin dust over everything. Several of the plants here are not doing as well as these bleeding hearts.
