Time: 1040-1100 hours
Weather: Cloudy
Location: In front of Montag at the end of the cement area
I am looking at some of these bushes in front of Montag for today’s observation. They are mostly unremarkable bushes, being low to the ground and having pale green leaves, but they also have small clusters of bright purple flowers. I can see some of the bushes that are purple and have thorns from here. They still don’t have flowers, but what appears to be small berries are hanging off of them. Behind me is what looks like a Rhododendron, but all of the flowers on it have wilted away and are hanging off of the plant in wilted brown clumps. These plants may face a difficult winter when the first frost hits.
