Observation Oct 3

Phil Colburn
3 October 2008
Weather: Cloudy Time: 1200-1220 hours
Location: Small park north of Baxter

The daffodil like flowers in this park that I mentioned before are no longer blooming. There are only a few flowers left, and the petals are dropping off of them quite quickly. This means that they have reached the end of their blooming season. If they are annuals, they will bloom again later, or if they are perennials, they will die. The leaves on the trees are turning yellow and orange, another sign that winter is coming soon.
